Tack Coat
Tack Coat atau Lapis Perekat merupakan jenis Aspal Emulsi yang berfungsi sebagai perekat antara permukaan jalan aspal yang ada dengan permukaan lapisan aspal baru yang akan dilapis.
Permukaan jalan yang akan dilapis Tack Coat harus dibersihkan terlebih dahulu dari kotoran debu dengan kompresor angin agar lapisan aspal yang baru nantinya bisa melekat dengan optimal.

Jenis Aspal Emulsi TCE masih mengacu pada standard Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga, dan disarankan memakai jenis Aspal Emulsi yang memakai standard ASTM / AASHTO / SNI yakni CRS-1, CRS-1P atau CRS-2.
